November 26-28, 2014 ~ Utley Thanksgiving Festivities!!
This year was an even year and you know what that means...UTLEY THANKSGIVING!! I have so many fond memories of thanksgiving with the Utley's growing up. Playing football and soccer at the Hyer's park, making a 3 person totem-pole, watching movies in the Hyer's theater and of course rolling! This year because of how big the family has grown with people getting married and people having kids we had thanksgiving at the Coronado Chapel. It was different because people are married and stuff but it was still fun seeing everyone and hanging out with everyone. We had a Hoer table for thanksgiving and Bryce and Chelsea were able to come into town so it was really fun talking with everyone. We played knock-out after we ate and after the tables were put away and that was AMAZING! Lucas was in the top 3 each time...no shocker because he is just an amazing athlete. And then it was rolling time!! I love when we roll, it starts off that we are on the ground rolling over each other like steam-rollers but then it ends up being a huge dog-pile! Lucas wouldn't join us because he thought it was weird because it's my cousins (girls included), which I understand but I wish he would join us.
The day before thanksgiving we went to the wet-lands so Chelsea could take engagement pictures of Liz and Jansen. I am so excited for liz to get married!! They are so cute together and she is a tough girl having a long-distance engagement and then a long-distance marriage for a little while after they get married. Before they got engaged Liz signed a 2 year contact with Siena to work there as a nurse in their New Grad program and Jansen has to go wherever the army tells him to go, which he is currently in the east. Liz wants experience as a nurse before she leaves Siena and she has to pay a fine for breaking her contract so she is wanting to wait until she knows where Jansen will be next year before she leaves. Jansen is leaving in the summer for his Residency program but he doesn't know where he will be. It was really fun being with the Murie's and the Allen's at the wetlands taking pictures. Chelsea is such a creative person and it was fun seeing what pictures she took.

Thanksgiving day!!
I posted this pictures on instragram and wrote the following comment (one of the few times I have EVER taken a selfie haha): This thanksgiving I'm grateful for my wonderful husband who is always loving, caring and is such a hard worker! I'm grateful that I'm able to be in nursing school even though it kicks my butt at times. I'm grateful for my wonderful family, the knowledge of Christ and for good health.
Me and baby Delilah, she is so cute!!
Our thanksgiving table filled with fun people!
The "teenager's table". I used to be apart of a table like this every thanksgiving but then I graduated high school and married a very handsome man named Lucas and all the cousins my age grew up and married also. It's crazy how things have changed!
Diana and Cody brought one of the Turkey's for thanksgiving and they had too much fun making and eating the Turkey!
All of the Utley siblings. (Joey had to leave before they took the picture and John wasn't able to make it to thanksgiving)
ROLLING TIME
The day after thanksgiving we went to the dry lake bed for shooting guns, riding dirt-bikes, roasting marshmallows and for a wedding photo shoot!! Since Jansen and Liz wouldn't be together until the week of the wedding (crazy) they had to take their engagement pictures and their wedding pictures over his thanksgiving break. It was so much fun being apart of the photo shoot. I missed out on shooting guns because of the photo shoot, which I thought I could do both but things changed last minute. I was still able to hangout with everyone when they came back from shooting to ride the dirtbikes so it all worked out. I didn't do homework thanksgiving day and therefore I had to catch up on some homework and had to leave early but it was still a fun morning. I was able to ride the dirtbikes and roast marshmallows and a hot dog but I wish I could have stayed longer to hangout with everyone. I have to do what I have to do to stay in nursing school and not fail out though (even though I wouldn't have failed the class if I didn't leave to study).

They are so ready to be grandparents...or atlas mom is ready. Sorry, don't expect any grandchildren from me for a couple of years.
