December 2-3, 2014 ~ Free Encore Room, Wynn Buffet and Show

Lucas was able to get a FREE night stay at the Encore because it was included in a Where event for work. The where event included a free night stay at the Encore, a food & beverage credit of $200 and free tickets to go to the Show Stoppers at the Wynn. It happened to fall on the week before adult health 2 finals but I couldn't pass up such an amazing deal and so I planned my studying schedule around it. I am so glad I planned around it because it was so relaxing and nice. I felt like royalty! We had a good view from our amazing room. The room had it's own sitting area, included anything you could possibly think of in the bathroom in travel size and robes. We got to the room, dropped off our stuff then headed to the Wynn for the buffet and the show. We were in line for the buffet for dinner and we realized the line was way too long to be able to take our time to eat and then go to the show. So sadly we got out of the buffet line and had a quick dinner at a Cafe they had in the Wynn before going to the show. The Cafe was ridiculously priced but it was really really good and it was free due to our $200 credit. We figured out the math and we could still get food at the Cafe and go to the Wynn buffet for a late breakfast early lunch the next day. So we had caesars salad and sandwiches for dinner before going to the show. Show stoppers was a good show, it was a compilation of all of the famous Broadway music acts. It was entertaining and the people were very talented but I only knew like 2 of the songs because of my young age. The show had a lot of Broadway shows I had never seen, but I think my parents would enjoy it and probably know more of the songs. After the show we were hungry a little so we got another caesars salad at the Cafe then went to the room. In the morning we showered, relaxed and went to the Buffet!! The buffet had some really good food and we went at the perfect time because we paid the breakfast price and ate breakfast food but then they started to bring out lunch food also! So I had waffles, pizza and all sorts of food. After breakfast/lunch Lucas surprised me with the CSI experience at the MGM. I was so excited because I had wanted to do that for a while and he got it for FREE (the only way we do things haha). It was a fun experience but evolved less problem solving and mystery solving then I thought. They had things set up in stations and we got to test the blood and stuff like that but the answers were kind of given to you. Overall, it was a wonderful little get away before my finals and it was fun just being with Lucas, relaxing and feeling spoiled!
