On Monday February 9th Lucas was playing soccer and collided with another player which resulted in a lip laceration. Apparently the person's tooth went straight through his lip! My dad was nice enough to go to the office at 11pm on his birthday....yes on his birthday and clean Lucas' cut up and put steri strips on it. I felt so bad for my dad and for Lucas!
On Tuesday February 10th Lucas and I were able to go to the UNLV basketball game and have court side seats on the 4th row thanks to Dr. Grondel! The pictures of Lucas look pretty funny because he wasn't able to smile because if not it would stretch his cut and it would hurt. The cut also made it hard for him to cheer. Diana and Cody happened to be going to the game for Diana's birthday so when we saw that no one was sitting around us (since we only had 2 seats) we invited them to come join us. It was a lot of fun watching the game with Diana and Cody!
