July 22, 2014 ~ Dinner and Zip-Line Date Night
We went to Yusho Japanese Grill and Noodle House on the strip. It was really good. It was a really relaxed, modern place. It was set up so we had 6 small courses. Lucas loves Japanese food, due to his mission in Japan, and it was fun trying some Japanese style foods with him. It was free, we just had to pay for the tip, and so that made it even more fun! After dinner we went on the Vodoo Zip-Line at the Rio. The zipline went from the top of the Rio to the top of another casino. For the zip line it was a side-by-side seat and then a seatbelt across your lap. It was a lot scarier for Lucas then I thought it would be because he has been sky diving. It was scary because the seat was a smaller seat and he is a tall man and so the seat went to less then mid-thigh. He felt like he was barely on the seat and there was nothing holding you in, only an across the lap seatbelt and nothing to hold onto. The zipline was also free! I will really miss the perks of Lucas's job when he finds a new job.
Lucas's enjoying his noodle bowl! In the picture is The Chicken Drummies (red miso, garlic and sesame) and the Logan Poster Ramen (Crispy pork, egg, Nori and cucumber)
Pictures from the top of the Rio.
